In a time when Christian artists were falling into a rut of releasing live albums strictly as contract filler, My Soul Sings rose above the status quo to offer a generous career-spanning glimpse into Delirious' passionate worship rock. Generous in both quantity and quality, Martin Smith's U.K.-based rock outfit includes no less than 14 tracks on this live CD/DVD set. The performance was recorded in front of 12,000 fans in Bogota, Columbia, a fitting locale considering the band's renewed focus on social justice and the fight against poverty. Without an undue emphasis on their most recent material, the audio disc includes stand-out tracks from Kingdom of Comfort but equally balances some of their oldest and most timeless classics: "Deeper," "Bliss," "Rain Down," and many others.
