What the Critics Say
The unusual prospect of remixes by a folk artist is a promising one, and the songs Ani Difranco has chosen to experiment with ("Joyful Girl" and "Shameless" from Dilate) seem well suited to the format. Unfortunately, DiFranco merely finds a few interesting sounds and repeats them until they're no longer interesting.
