Art Neville cut some of this CD's most pertinent tracks right before serving in the Navy in the late '50s and never got the chance to properly promote the records that came out on Art Rupe's Specialty label. Perennial Mardi Gras favorite "Mardi Gras Mambo," which has reportedly sold more than a million copies over the years; "Cha Dooky Doo," a regional hit; and "What's Going On," a local favorite, are the main attractions.
