Artless dodgers they may have been, but on-stage Sham 69's was a powerful presence. What you can't argue with is the fact that this band meant something -- a great deal -- to their huge working-class audience. Recorded in 1979, this well-produced, visceral souvenir is easily the best of a plethora of live albums and arguably a much better introduction to why Sham mattered than either That's Life or Hersham Boys, their rather limited studio efforts. ~ Alex Ogg, All Music Guide
