This two-disc set on Sono is a reissue of an earlier Miriam Makeba album called Live From Paris And Conakry, recorded at concerts in Conakry in 1970 and Paris in 1977, with a few tracks omitted. The original was a single disc (even with more songs) and there is no reason to seek out this truncated version spread out over twice as much real estate. ~ Steve Leggett, All Music Guide
