What the Critics Say

Although Jiri Ceiver is probably best known for his banging techno and trance tracks, a fair amount of his more recent material has been on the avant-garde electro-jazz tip, trodding similar ground to such artists as Atom Heart, Plaid, and Nonplace Urban Field. The title of this 1997 Harthouse full-length actually goes a long way toward describing its stylistic concerns, located somewhere in the vicinity of dance music but deviating pretty severely, with clattering beats and electronic textures as often suggesting malfunction and hyperactivity. ~ Sean Cooper, All Music Guide
