Just prior to their breakup, Crowded House reconvened to record three new tracks for inclusion on the career retrospective Recurring Dream: the Very Best of Crowded House -- each were released as singles in various countries. The first single released in Australia was "Instinct," and featuring three live tracks -- "Private Universe," "Fingers of Love," and "Better Be Home Soon" -- recorded at GLR June 21, 1996 on the Phill Jupitus Show, the band's last U.K. appearance (the same three tracks were added to the U.K. single for "Not the Girl You Think You Are"). ~ Chris Woodstra, All Music Guide
