In Concert features stellar renditions of 17 Burt Bacharach/Hal David songs that reached the Top 40 for various artists including Dionne Warwick, Tom Jones, B.J. Thomas, Dusty Springfield, and many others, including the number one hits "(They Long to Be) Close to You," "Raindrops Keep Falling on My Head," and "This Guy's in Love With You." What is truly amazing is that Bacharach co-wrote well over 20 other Top 40 hits, before he made this recording, that are not on this album. Three other included songs that were less successful on the music charts, "Come Touch the Sun" from the movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "Bond Street," and "A House Is Not a Home" are every bit as good as the more popular tunes.
