The expansive Gold series that Universal has been reissuing keeps on trucking along, this time making a pit stop in the Great White North to celebrate Canada's finest rock exports. While there have been dozens of greatest-hits compilations featuring Bachman-Turner Overdrive, they have all had minor flaws, glaring omissions, or even the most heinous of crimes: the re-recording of classics. Gold remedies that by featuring 35 tracks of hard-rocking goodness spanning the prime years of the band's career. All of the recognizable radio hits are nestled in between lesser-known album rock tracks, digitally remastered and carefully packaged with extensive liner notes detailing the band's every moment of glory.
