What the Critics Say
This U.K. version of Fefe Dobson's strong, self-titled debut features our girl in a different-colored T, as well as two bonus tracks, "Rainbow" and "Don't Let Me Fall." As for the rest of the album, its jumble of sculpted alterna-pop anthemery still works better than you'd think, mostly because Dobson has tons of 'tude on the mike. It's her willingness to inject pop with pluck and rock ("Bye Bye Boyfriend," "Unforgiven") as much as she flutters ("Julia") that makes the album's production niceties and glaring opportunism palatable. ~ Johnny Loftus, All Music Guide
