Clyde McPhatter was among the finest falsetto and R&B vocalists of the '50s, and he got his start with Billy Ward and the Dominoes. McPhatter didn't score his biggest hits with The Dominoes, but turned in some sizzling uptempo and ballad vocals during his Dominoes years.
