What the Critics Say
Too often, Midwestern rock bands cannot escape being labeled Replacements clones, but the Afghan Whigs, although vocalist Greg Dulli was originally called a rougher Paul Westerberg, show on their extremely rare debut release that Midwestern rock doesn't necessarily have to overwhelm with its country influences.
