What the Critics Say
Although it sounds nothing like the music of their industrial heyday, the Rx project of Martin Atkins and Nivek Ogre is similar to many other late-'90s groups, including former industrial producers Mick Harris with Scorn and cEvin Key with Download. Thanks to the rise of computer technology, plus Atkins and Ogre's restless urge to explore new forms of music, Rx sound closer to contemporary British electronica than anything from ten years before. Granted, the presence of Ogre's vocals is a trademark well-known to fans of industrial music, but Bedside Toxicology largely looks to the future instead of the past. ~ John Bush, All Music Guide
