What the Critics Say
Master P's career continued to evolve with 99 Ways to Die, another of his California-era underground releases. Not much really sets this one apart from The Ghettos Tryin to Kill Me! (1994), its closest companion, and it's not quite on the level of Ice Cream Man (1996), though it is a big step up from Get Away Clean (1991) and Mama's Bad Boy (1992).
