Sista, the brainchild of Devante Swing of Jodeci, released one album in 1994 before they sadly went their separate ways. The group was comprised of vocalist and rapper Missy Misdemeanor Elliott, LaShawn Shellman, Chonita Coleman, and Radiah Scott. This superb and extremely underrated album was produced entirely by Devante Swing and Timbaland, and spawned one single release, "Brand New," which charted briefly. The album is a mix of 20 R&B and hip-hop flavors, segued together with skits and interludes. The highlight of the album is the searing ballad "Feel of Your Lips," which features surprise cameo appearances by Mary J. Blige and K-Ci Hailey of Jodeci. ~ Paul Clifford, All Music Guide
